Downloaded Yahoo Widgets- nothing works and I can't get any directions. day-planner and calendar don't open

I now have these pictures on my desk top-larger than icons- for dayplanner, calendar( which has the wrong date) and weather. No place to click to open, close or change. Very irratating. Yahoo does not seem to provide adequate help for these "widgets". Can't even figure out how to delete. Thank you for help.

I've never used yahoo widgets but you can get some information here. Try going to control panel "add/remove" programs and uninstall "yahoo widgets". Then go to this site and download them again with instructions.

I went to the site and if you click on each widget it gives you instructions on how to use it.
