What are Widgets? Should I get them?
Wow, I can't believe all these people are answering a question they know nothing about! Anyway, I love yahoo widgets, and they don't slow down my computer at all. They're nice, simple little programs that sit on the desktop - my favorites are the analog clock, the moon phase indicator (called "werewolf monitor"), the calendar, and the weather widget. There are literally thousands of widgets, everything from radio players to blog readers to solitaire games, just about whatever you could imagine and then some. I'd recommend downloading them and trying them out. If you don't like it, then you can easily uninstall them from your computer.
