How do I install new dashboard widgets on Mac?
You download the file from somewhere. You possibly need to unzip it. But if you see the file and it has a widget icon, then you just double-click it and dashboard opens up with the new widget. What happens when you try this?
Reply:If you have already downloaded and installed widgets and you can't find them try this.

Click on the Dashboard icon and a cross inside a circle will appear. Click on the cross and a Manage Widgets box will open.Click on this box and a list of Widgets will show. Click on the box to the left of each Widget you want to have in Dashboard and then click on the X in the upper left corner to close that window. The widgets should show up in Dashboard. Hope this helps.
Reply:After you download the widget it should give you the option to open it. If that option isn't presented to you, find where the file was downloaded to and double click on it to open. Once open it should ask you if you want to install the widget, select yes and it should than be available for you to use
Reply:There should be a "Manage Widgets" widget... I always download mine from the Apple website and they install automatically after being downloaded. I can't imagine that you'd have a problem with it... Are you new to Mac?
