I love widgets but someone mentioned they might be used for spying or collecting data. I don't even care about that, but would having them open leave my laptop open to trojans, worms, or viruses, or anything like that? Thanks!

Reply:As long as you get them from the Yahoo! Widgets site then they should be safe. I haven't had a problem with Yahoo! widgets yet and I've been running it since it came out.
