Is Yahoo! Widgets an example of open source software, according to the technical definition of open source?

Open source software means that the software is free, that others can modify the code, and I believe there are other parts of the definition...but I'm not sure if Yahoo! Widgets qualifies as a definite example of open source software. Any help or proof would be appreciated!
