I have Yahoo Widgets Engine installed on my computer, however the new widgets off of http://widgets.yahoo.com/

Right click on a widget a. choose %26gt;%26gt;widget in explorer%26lt;%26lt;. Now explorer shows the files of installed widgets.

Important: changes deletes the dock settings (not widget settings).

Stop the dock. Rename the widgets for alphabetical order and after starting again in the dock in the same order!

With this trick you can also copy a widget to have it twice in the dock!

I have Yahoo Widgets Engine installed on my computer, however the new widgets off of http://widgets.yahoo.com/
Download the Widget4 Dock Its more useful that the Widget Engine. The Widgets work with both control programs.

http://widgets.yahoo.com/

Individual Widgets are stored in: My Documents\My Widgets

The only trouble in alphabetizing or using numbers to reorder the Widget is that you are changing the name of the Widget. The Engine/Dock will treat it as a new Widget.

This may cause you to lose the Preferences and Data. Some Widgets will create a new data folder. Changing the Name will also effect update notification.

Some Widget store data In a Widget Data directory.

• Click on My Computer

To get to that area, enter the following path:

• C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Application Data\Yahoo\Widget Engine\Widget Data

You can delete the Widgets' data folders that aren't being used.
