I really want a widget engine , is there a different version than yahoo widgets that doesnt take up so muchCPU
I don't understand your CPU question. I am running the widget engine and several widgits. The overhead is very low. Less then 1 percent most of the time.
Try disabling your widgets one at a time. You might have one that is a resource hog.

There are several ways you can check network connections....
you have to get to a command line, and this applies only to PC's....
you get a DOS prompt and type in ipconfig/all if you have some flavor of Windows running. that command will tell you what your ip address is, your gateway to the internet and if you are connected, it will give you at least one DNS entry for the ISP's server. If you get that info, and have and DNS address, then do the following next.
type in ping (the dns ip address) like this...ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
the command sends out 4 ICMP requests to that server which will be answered back (unless the ISP is blocking those) if you have at least 2 answers back, you have a bit of network issues, latency or line level issues, or similar problems whether dsl or cable.
If you get four answers back that the server actually answers...try ping www.yahoo.com if you can reach one of their servers, you have good internet connection.
If none of the above works, but you are getting browser contact to the internet with no problem, it's quite possibly a routing issue between your ISP and the next hop out. They may have done that intentionally...if so, you'll have to contact the tech folks for your ISP.
If none of the above works, then you don't have a good internet connection and you need tech support or a service call to get the connection problem fixed.
To help the ISP, if you own a router between your modem and your computer...shut it and your PC down for about a minute. then restart the router, wait about a minute and start your computer....then re run the DOS commands above and see if the browser works. Lots of times, the router will lose connection for a second or so, then can't reestablish because of a freeze in the firmware on the router.
If you own the router, you'll be responsible for it's malfunction...if the ISP owns it and you lease it, then you will have to get them to talk you through any issues on it.

but if you do change it to the new folder, i dont think you will be able to delete the orginol one
so you will be taking up more room on the computer
so if your computers slow with widgets i wouldnt make another folder

Fast forward a couple of years when Arlo began working with Perry Clarke at Sun Microsystems. Over lunch one afternoon Arlo gave Perry the basics of this dream app. Perry suggested that JavaScript would be far easier for people to digest. He was right. It's the basis for Flash's ActionScript, and Adobe's scripting engine for Photoshop. Of all the choices, JavaScript made the most sense. Shortly after that lunch, the two began to spend their nights and weekends making this thing a reality.
A half year later it was ready for download on Mac OS X.
Time flew by, Ed Voas joined the team and the Windows version was unveiled.
